Bad Bunny emerged as the night’s biggest winner at the Latin Grammys, securing the highly coveted Album of the Year award for Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
The Puerto Rican superstar also took home the very first trophy of the evening when his landmark project won Best Urban Music Album. He continued his success by earning Best Urban Music Song for Debí Tirar Más Fotos and Best Reggaeton Performance for Voy A Llevarte Pa PR.
“Thanks to God. Thank you to my family, to all the people who have inspired me, to those who worked on this album, and there are so many of us,” the singer said.
Argentine pair Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso won Best Pop Song for El Día Del Amigo.
“We have made a superhuman effort to win this beautiful object. It is so superhuman that we no longer perceive ourselves as human, but as an enterprise,” Ca7riel joked.
The twenty sixth annual ceremony was broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Bad Bunny, Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso, Karol G, Marco Antonio Solís, Chuwi, and Fuerza Regida were among the performers during the event, which was hosted by Maluma and Roselyn Sánchez.
More than sixty awards were presented. As with the Grammys, most of the Latin Grammy trophies were handed out during the Latin Grammy Premiere ceremony held before the televised broadcast.
