Preparations are reportedly underway for what many believe could be Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding, although neither has publicly confirmed any plans to marry.
People magazine reported that work has begun on what has been described as a garden party style setup at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Multiple outlets have claimed the couple are expected to marry this Friday. Page Six also reported that Swift's private jet arrived in New York on Tuesday, adding more fuel to the ongoing speculation.
The New York Times reported that Swift had rented Madison Square Garden for a multi day event, while a representative from City Hall confirmed that a permit had been filed with the City Street Activity Office to temporarily close streets surrounding the venue.
On Monday, trucks were seen outside the arena as crews unloaded equipment, rolls of grass, and other decorative items. Several black storage cases drew attention, including one labeled "Garden Party" and another marked "Mirror Ball". Workers spent more than two hours using forklifts to move equipment into the venue well into the evening.
Videos shared by Deuxmoi on Tuesday appeared to show workers laying out a red carpet at the site. According to Page Six, the carpet was later removed.
Fans have also highlighted a noticeable break in Madison Square Garden's public calendar. No events are currently listed between June 29 and July 6, a period that is typically busy for major concerts and live entertainment. Bon Jovi is scheduled to perform at the venue on July 7.
