Andy Grammer and his wife, Aijia Grammer, have celebrated the arrival of their third baby.
The Honey, I'm Good singer confirmed that he and his wife, who is also a singer and songwriter, privately welcomed their third daughter, West Lizette Grammer, on 17 June.
The family’s latest arrival came only a month before Grammer began his headline tour supporting his forthcoming album, Big Stupid Heart, which will be released on 16 October.
During an interview with People, the musician shared the exciting update and explained how they chose their youngest child’s name.
"We're officially outnumbered. We welcomed our daughter, West Lizette Grammer, on June 17," he divulged.
The 42 year old artist revealed that each of the three daughters he shares with Aijia has a name connected to a location.
"Our oldest daughter, Louie, nine, is named after Louisiana, and Izzy, six, is Israel," he said. "We were trying to figure out if we were going to keep going with the location thing, and then from the backseat Louie said, 'What about West?' My wife and I were like, 'Honestly, that's really good,' so we call her Westie."
Grammer also paid tribute to his "hero" wife, explaining that she experienced hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), a serious pregnancy condition, throughout all three of her pregnancies.
"There wouldn't be anything else worth her going through this except these little girls," he said. "She loves our daughters. She did it, and she's never going to do it again."
The pair have been husband and wife since 2012.
While discussing their new chapter as a family of five, the Fine By Me artist said it is "just so good in a rocking chair with this baby and my two other girls snuggled on top of me."
Grammer later acknowledged that caring for a newborn while getting ready for a tour and the arrival of his sixth studio record has brought a mixture of pressure and joy.
"To be able to do both of these at the same time, family, and then putting out a record that I just love and can't wait to play live, it's a stressful, wonderful period in life," he shared. "It's the best."
