Buckcherry's tour bus was involved in a deadly multi vehicle collision while the band was travelling for its US tour.
The rock group confirmed on social media that their bus was caught up in an accident in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
"We are extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed," the band said in a statement shared through their Instagram Stories.
"Tragically, authorities have confirmed that the collision that occurred ahead of our bus resulted in a fatality."
"Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and loved ones of the person who lost their life," they added. "We sincerely appreciate everyone who has reached out with concern and support."
According to local media reports, the South Carolina Department of Transportation recorded an incident on the I-26 motorway in which a pedestrian was struck and killed.
The man reportedly exited his vehicle before being hit by a Toyota sedan and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened while Buckcherry members, including frontman Josh Todd, guitarist Stevie D, bassist Kelly LeMieux, drummer Francis Ruiz and guitarist Billy Rowe, were travelling as part of their Roar Like Thunder Tour.
The Crazy B**ch rockers are currently expected to continue with their scheduled performances.
