NLE Choppa has been dealing with serious accusations lately. In case you missed it, the Memphis rapper has been called out by both Marissa Da’Nae and Mariah, the mothers of his two children. They’ve both accused him of neglecting their kids, with the most shocking claim being that he allegedly starves them.
Marissa, who shares a two-year-old son named ChoZen with the rapper, was the first to speak out. She went off on him in mid-September after what appeared to be a custody case that Choppa had started. “I can’t believe this btch is taking me to court about a child he doesn’t even call lmao. I get so angry just thinking bout this sht. Btch can’t even tell a mf when’s the last time ChoZen been to the doctor. I tell you what. ChoZen’s birthday was a month ago. This btch has only called once.”
Toward the end of her rant on X, she accused him of putting their child on a fasting routine. “A child he had fasting at 1 year old. Saying a child didn’t need to eat 3 times a day. Kids come home starving.”
More recently, on Saturday, October 4, Mariah made similar claims. According to The Shade Room, she tweeted, “be starving Clover’s a*s as well [three loudly crying emojis].” Clover is Choppa’s oldest child and his daughter.
How Many Kids Does NLE Choppa Have?
It looks like Mariah’s comments pushed things over the edge for the “Walk Em Down” artist and his mother, Angela Potts. Potts was the first to respond, sharing several clips of Choppa properly caring for and feeding his kids. She also voiced her frustration about the accusations being made against him.
“But he don’t feed her, [check mark emoji]... All he does for his baby mamas and kids, and this the thanks he gets. SLANDER SMH.”
Choppa later posted his own response on Instagram, sharing a sweet video of him doing Clover’s hair. He asked his four-year-old who the best dad is, and she replied, “Bryson Potts,” which is his real name. The caption appeared to be aimed at both Marissa and Mariah.
In it, he shared the definition of the word “neglect.” “Ne•Glect: (Verb) Fail To Care For Properly. (Noun) The State Or Fact Of Being Uncared For. Looks like neglect to me [laughing emoji two hearts emoji]. PS: This toothbrush is designated ONLY for her hair!”
It remains to be seen if either of the mothers takes further action. So far, Marissa has not moved forward with any custody case regarding ChoZen, and Mariah doesn’t seem to be pursuing one for Clover at this time.
