In the clip, Lady Gaga declares her love for Jigglypuff, praising its “12 octave vocal range” and how it “always finds a way to make things funny,” before softly singing part of its ‘Lullaby’. “She uses her voice to protect herself,” Gaga adds. JISOO then shares that her pick is Eevee.
Elsewhere in the ad, Trevor Noah chooses Psyduck, Formula One driver Charles Leclerc names Arcanine, Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko selects Gengar, Spanish footballer Lamine Yamal opts for Zygarde, and actor Maitreyi Ramakrishnan reveals Luxray as her favourite.
“The ‘What’s Your Favourite?’ campaign reflects Pokémon’s core mission of bringing people together through a shared love of Pokémon,” said Kenji Okubo, president of The Pokémon Company International, in a press statement.
“Since the franchise launched 30 years ago, Trainers have always asked one another, ‘What’s your favourite?’ It’s a simple question that sparks passionate conversations and reminds fans that no matter who you are, there is a Pokémon for you,” he continued.
“As we prepare for a year full of fan driven celebrations, we want to thank Trainers across the world for being part of our diverse and multigenerational community. We are excited to surprise and delight fans with more experiences and offerings in the months ahead.”

Over the next year, Pokémon fans can expect a series of real world, fan focused events under the ‘Day Out’ and ‘Night Out’ banners. Day Out events will centre on family friendly activities, while Night Out events will offer special experiences aimed at longtime fans who grew up with the franchise. More information will be shared soon.
