BTS are preparing to stage citywide festivals in Las Vegas and Busan as part of their ongoing ‘ARIRANG’ world tour. Full details are below.
‘The City Las Vegas’ is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from May 20 to May 31, before ‘The City Busan’ runs from June 5 to June 21. Both events will feature immersive experiences that blend the music and narrative of their fifth studio album with each city’s most recognisable landmarks.
The US portion of the project will line up with BTS’ run of shows at Allegiant Stadium on May 23, 24, 27 and 28. Fans can expect a wide range of interactive elements, including themed hotel rooms inspired by the group, partnerships with food and beverage brands, and exclusive after party experiences.
Following the success of ‘The City Las Vegas’ in 2022, this year’s version is expected to be even more expansive. Key locations across the city will be illuminated in BTS themed colours, with The Strip and digital billboards glowing in the album’s signature red concept.
After that, ‘The City Busan’ will bring the concept to South Korea, offering fans another lineup of activities. More detailed schedules and programming are set to be revealed later through BTS’ official channel on the global fan platform Weverse.
Earlier this month, BTS officially launched their 2026 and 2027 world tour at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, where they performed songs from ‘ARIRANG’ live for the first time. During the show, they introduced ‘Body to Body’, ‘Hooligan’, ‘2.0’ and ‘Like Animals’, while RM performed seated for much of the set after injuring his ankle during rehearsals.
NME attended the concert and awarded it four and a half stars, with Rhian Daly writing: “Throughout, it’s clear that they’re still as committed to BTS as before their enforced break for military service, RM referring to decisions they’ve made so they “can keep doing this for a long time”.
“It’s a sentiment that makes the fireworks heavy final song, ‘Into The Sun’, feel beautifully optimistic this might be the end of the show, but BTS’ moment in the sun is far from over.”
These performances mark the group’s first tour dates in three years. The run will see them visit 34 regions across 79 shows, making it their biggest tour to date. Before the tour began, they held a free concert at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, which was streamed live to more than 190 countries on Netflix and drew an estimated crowd of 104000 people, setting a new record for the largest public concert in South Korea.
Their North American dates begin on April 25 in Florida and continue through the end of May. After that, BTS will travel to Busan, South Korea for two shows on June 12 and 13.
They will then head to Europe later in the month, with scheduled stops in Madrid, Brussels, Munich and Paris. At present, only two UK dates have been confirmed, taking place in London on July 6 and 7, 2026.
Additional shows are planned across North America, Asia and Australia later in 2026 and into early 2027. Ticket information can be found here, UK tickets here, and international tickets here.
‘ARIRANG’ received a four star review from NME, which stated: “Much of ‘ARIRANG’ negotiates polar ideas BTS as heroes or normal people, the buzz of the spotlight and the hush of their private worlds, longing for the euphoric parts of life to continue versus wanting to get off of the ride.”
Since its release, BTS have also dropped a surprise hidden ‘ARIRANG’ track, while NME has put together what it calls the “dream BTS setlist”. Check it out here.
