Chris Brown's former housekeeper, Maria Avila, is seeking an arrest warrant against the singer in an effort to collect the damages awarded to her in court.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Avila, who won millions in compensation following a dog attack at Brown's Los Angeles home in 2020, has asked the court to issue a warrant because the singer has failed to provide dates for her lawyers to review his financial records.
So far, her legal team has been unable to recover the $9.5 million (£7.2 million) judgment.
Avila was attacked by a large dog outside the home of the It Depends singer while she was taking out the rubbish.
Two weeks ago, she accepted a reduced settlement after the presiding judge described the jury's original $12.9 million (£9.8 million) award as "excessive" and proposed lowering the amount.
"Maria Avila hereby unequivocally accepts and consents to the reduction of her damages award," her lawyer stated in a notice of acceptance.
Both Brown and Avila gave evidence during the original trial in Los Angeles in June. Avila became emotional while describing the attack to jurors, which took place on 12 December 2020 at the home of the Under The Influence singer in the Tarzana neighbourhood.
She told the court that the incident caused serious injuries to her arm and face, extensive scarring and post traumatic stress disorder.
"I will never be the same again," she said.
