Christina Aguilera has faced criticism following her recent performance in Mexico City.
The 45 year old singer took to the stage for a special one night concert in the city earlier this week.
During the show, she frustrated some fans after telling the audience, "I love you so much New Mexico!", mistakenly naming the US state instead of Mexico.
Concertgoers also expressed disappointment about the length of the performance, claiming the set lasted only about 55 minutes despite the event being promoted as a two hour show. Some also noted she arrived late before starting her performance.
"I was there, worst show ever," one attendee posted online. "Omg I liked her but she gave Mexico a half hearted low cost show."
Others also criticised the overall production, mentioning that plastic covers had been placed over parts of the stage equipment due to rainy weather.
"The show was extremely short," another unhappy fan shared. "It didn't even last an hour, including interludes. She took the stage over an hour late for a 55 minute show. Many songs were shortened, the stage production was lackluster, the lighting was terrible, and she even mentioned New Mexico (the US state) instead of Mexico."
Some audience members also pointed out that several of her well known songs were not included in the setlist, including Candyman and Come On Over.
She is scheduled to perform next in Costa Rica this weekend before heading to Abu Dhabi in April.
