Lil Baby has an update on his next album, Dominique, after its projected February release date has came and went.
In a video posted to social media this week, Baby revealed that the new LP will instead drop in May.
“The album dropping in eight weeks. I had to push it back,” he explained.

At the top of the year, Lil Baby released an album titled WHAM, which topped the Billboard 200 for the week ending January 18, ahead of Bad Bunny, SZA, Kendrick Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter.
The LP arrived on January 3, and features appearances from Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, GloRilla, Rod Wave, Rylo and 21 Savage. And already, Lil Baby has yet another new album on the way.
Taking to Instagram the following week, Baby shared the impressive stats for WHAM and added in the caption: “See yall Again in a couple weeks ‘Dominique’ The Album 2-?-25.”
When making the announcement that both albums would come in 2025 while appearing on on Lil Yachty‘s A Safe Place podcast in December, the Atlanta native explained how they would differ.
“I still put some of the songs I was gonna use for Dominique on WHAM ’cause I know my fanbase really want to hear them certain songs,” he explained. “WHAM is more me on some young n-gga shit — fast cars, girls, jewelry, money. You know, the turnt lifestyle.”
Baby continued: “And Dominique is more the serious me, more personal. That’s a part of the new journey I’m on. I hate the word vulnerable, but I’m gonna be more open to my fans and my audience.”’
In June, Baby will take WHAM on the road and he’ll be bringing along NLE Choppa, BigXthaPlug and Loe Shimmy as support.
The trek begins on June 3 in Houston, and the domestic dates continue through July 1. Then things pick back up again with European shows in September, and Australian concerts the following month.
BigXthaPlug will be appearing at all U.S. dates except Los Angeles, and all Australian shows. NLE Choppa will be at all U.S. shows except for Miami. Loe Shimmy will be performing at all U.S. shows.
