Jason Derulo is set to take his Last Dance World Tour to Australia later this year.
The R and B artist will perform in arenas across both coasts, starting at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Sept. 17, before heading to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Sept. 19, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Sept. 21, and closing out the run at Perth’s RAC Arena on Sept. 23.
TEG Live is behind the Australian leg of the tour, which also includes scheduled stops in Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany in the coming months.
The upcoming shows “will showcase a dynamic retrospective of his biggest hits,” according to a statement from TEG Live, “delivering a high energy production featuring spectacular choreography and stunning visual effects that bring the full rhythm of his catalogue to life.” Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, April 15 at 11:00 a.m. local time via Ticketek.
Derulo has a strong track record in Australia, where songs like “In My Head,” “Trumpets,” “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” with Jawsh 685 and “Talk Dirty” featuring 2 Chainz all reached No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. His first three solo albums also landed inside the national top 10.
Back in 2010, Derulo appeared as a guest and performer at the ARIA Awards held at the Sydney Opera House, and he has earned several ARIA nominations over the years, including best international artist in 2014.
He later joined the coaching panel for season 12 of Channel 7’s The Voice Australia, stepping in for Keith Urban.
Derulo is currently on the road supporting his eight track release The Last Dance (Part 1), which arrived in January. The project includes six new songs, among them the single “Sexy For Me,” along with two previously released fan favorites.
